DESCRIPTION:This summer\, Tiburon will celebrate a new community and cultural event\, the Tiburon Jewish Festival. The festival will highlight the foods\, drinks\, music\, and traditions that Jewish people celebrate and enjoy.\n\n\n\nJoin us at Zelinsky Park\, downtown Tiburon\, Sunday\, July 30 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.\n\n\n\nThe Festival will feature a Klezmer band known as the "Sonoma Klezmer Band\," which specializes in Jewish Klezmer music. Their songs\, which are in both English and Hebrew\, bring the message of love and joy in Jewish music. We will also have the Ferris wheels band highlighting the second half of the festival. The set list features traditional and contemporary Jewish songs\, as well as rock classics with Ferris' Judaized lyrics. That means everything from a double-time "David Melech Israel" to a swing version of "Oseh Shalom." Their "Eliahu Hanavi" sounds like a Led Zeppelin ballad\, while their version of one Beatles classic includes Hebrew verses and a tweaked chorus: "Get back to where we all belong."\n\n\n\nThe festival will also include family entertainment with inflatables\, games\, crafts\, vendors\, and traditional Jewish foods\, including kosher Falafel and Shawarma. Admission\, music\, and activities will be at no charge. The food will be for sale.\n\n\n\nTickets are available at: www.tiburonjewishfestival.com
