SUMMARY:Tiburon Town Council Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The five members of the Town Council are elected for staggered\, four-year terms in even-numbered years.  The Town Council appoints one of its members to be Mayor during the December Town Council meeting.  It is an honorary position that is rotated each year.\n\n\n\nImportant dates and deadlines regarding elections can be obtained from the Marin County Registrar of Voters' website\, www.marinvotes.org.  The qualification to run for office is to be a registered voter within the Town limits.  A Notice of Election and information on when to file papers to run for office in the next election is available in June of the election year.  Further information can be obtained by contacting the Town Clerk at 415-435-7377.
