Garden to Cup - Herbal Tea Making Workshop
Indoors or out, anyone can experience the magic of making an herb garden for tea. Join Jill at Ground for this two-hour workshop to learn how to grow, harvest, dry, and mix your own herbal tea blends. Guided by the seasonal rhythms of biodynamic gardening you will learn how to select and grow a variety of herbs for harvesting, and how best to collect and use them fresh or dried.
After learning about the taste and properties of different herbs, you will mix and create your own teas. You will go home with a list of plants and their properties, instructions for making tea blends at home, a journal with your class notes, and three half-ounce bags of personal teas. This is a perfect chance to explore the early-season garden, and warm yourself with a flavorful drink as you plot the year ahead.

Her own garden is in the Berkeley hills, which she cultivates with the help (or hindrance) of her family and a rescue hound.
