Nature Journaling at Ground

Nature journaling offers a calming way to observe and appreciate the wonders of the natural world, and no prior experience in art or science is needed to participate. In this two-hour workshop, facilitated by Amy Faulkner - a nature-based educator with over 30 years of teaching experience and a certified California Naturalist - participants will explore various types of nature journals, engage in activities that blend art, writing, and observation, and experiment with watercolors to discover colors in nature. This workshop is designed for all ages and encourages everyone to reconnect with the complexity and beauty of the natural world. Guided by Amy’s expertise and enthusiasm, participants will leave inspired and equipped to begin their own outdoor nature journaling practice.
